I dropped out of a Computer Science degree at Newcastle University after one term to start Claims Gate at 19, with no external funding.
The idea was simple: build the infrastructure that lets law firms pursue the UK’s largest group litigations at scale. Today, as Chief Executive Officer, I set the strategic direction of the business, bring together the people and capabilities needed to deliver it, and stay involved wherever I can move the company forward.
Outside the business I’ve summited Mount Everest and completed some of the world’s toughest ultra-endurance events, including the Marathon des Sables, UTMB and the Moab 240. I see strong parallels between endurance sport and building a company. Both reward persistence over talent, patience over speed, and the ability to keep moving when the conditions turn against you.
